They are seeking to bring on a person to architect the development of this process.

The person they are seeking has the following acumen.

Proficient at developing object-oriented software in Flex

Experience using design-patterns in Flex.

Familiarity with Flex APIs involving networking, graphics (imaging), persistence, and XML.

Proficient at developing user interfaces in Flex

Experience working with visual designers to implement the look-and-feel of the user interface using Flash best practices.

Experience working with visual designers to implement animations in the user interface.

Able to solve technical challenges for a photo book application

Handle large numbers of images in a memory-efficient way.

This is going to be a developer for a RIA photo book application.

Experience in developing applications that handle large numbers of Flash objects via caching or other means.

Develop modular code that can be used in multiple Flash applications.
